POSITION:
On-Call Relief
Reception QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduation plus related courses in commercial/business practice; one to three years related experience, preferable in a community centre setting; strong interpersonal and communications skills; including diplomacy and tact; ability to speak clearly and effectively in English; attention to detail; excellent telephone manner; capable of multi-tasking; typing 35 w.p.m.; basic mathematical competence and word processing skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Performs opening/closing procedures when needed. 2. Ensures provision and dissemination of information related to CECC’s objectives, policies, programs and services to the general public. Provides welcoming and congenial atmosphere for receiving visitors and notifying staff of their arrival Responsible for receiving all telephone calls, keeping accurate messages for staff, students/volunteers, and/or relaying calls to same. Processes membership and program registrations, inclusive of receipts, issuing membership cards, and maintenance of filing system. Completes other clerical work as assigned by the Office Manager Processes and mails outgoing mail Other duties as assigned.

Pleasant and Eglinton area) that provides a wide range of programs and services to the community. We have an opening for: SATURDAY DROP-IN PROGRAM FACILITATOR Reports to: Family Resource Centre Coordinator
Qualifications: Salary: $12.00 per hour
Hours:
Saturday 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Start date: July 5, 2008 – August 3, 2008 Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Family Resource Centre Coordinator: q Set up, facilitate and clean up Saturday Drop-in program q Participate in C.E.C.C fundraising campaigns and special events, as needed q Maintain a safe and enriching environment conducive to the development of physical, social and cognitive skills in children q Maintain a supportive and co-operative environment, which facilitates parent/caregiver involvement; q Maintain program equipment and program area; q Perform other duties as assigned.
