As members of Amnesty International Group 65 we:
Work to secure the release of a prisoner
of conscience.
Send urgent appeals to governments around
the world on behalf of individuals who are in grave danger.
Participate in a Regional Action Network
to improve human rights in a specific area of the world.
Work to eradicate torture and the death
penalty.
Raise funds for our human rights work.
Group 65 meets the first Tuesday evening of each month at 7:00 pm. (except in the summer) at Fairlawn Heights United Church, 28 Fairlawn Avenue. Enter through the doors in the church annex (new section) which faces on to Fairlawn Avenue.
