It took years before
movies developed technical and artistic sophistication, thanks to visionaries
who advanced the medium
and made it the viable art form it is today.
The Web needs similar visionaries. People working in this field are
often from other disciplines. They often don't imagine the medium full
potential and its unique character.
As the Web continues to evolve, it requires people with specialized
training and an understanding to help it flourish. That's where
I come in.
My background in traditional Arts, specifically Film and Video, has
been augmented by Humber College's Internet Management program.
Here's what I have to offer:
- Clear,
concise writing
- Optimized,
grabbing visuals
- Effective,
efficient HTML
- Multimedia
content
- Database
integration
My resume
highlights these skills and more.
I interned with Canadian Geographic's website doing a little bit of
everything. I also write a monthly column for the travel ezine, Boots'n'All.com.
On a personal note: I live in Toronto. I enjoy travelling, hiking, Tai
Chi, photography and writing.
I love surfing the web, check out some of my favourite
links.
I recently got married. I've chronicled our wacky relationship in our
"wedsite"
- definitely a labour of love!
