New York City Extravaganza!!!

First stop, World Trade Center to buy some cheap Broadway
tickets.
We happy theatre-lovers lucked out and got to see Footloose.

Trinity Church, my Loyalist ancestors owned this land, but the Church
squatted on it and stole it from us!
My relatives actually took them to court - but nobody beats the Church!

Obligatory cemetery shot, Trinity Church.

View from the Staten Is. Ferry.
It's a free harbour cruise if you can stand the countless tourists and annoying
children.

Old and new, such is the rich tapestry that is New York.

Yet another symbol of America's greatness.

Who needs to go all the way to Egypt when you can see
an ancient Egyptian Temple right inside The MET ?

The Cloisters a separate part of the MET.
Built to resemble a medieval monastery, it houses their medieval collection.
This was our favourite thing in New York.

One of the cloisters at the Cloisters.

Jenny has a mother-superior complex. (Ha!)
"How do you
solve a problem like Jenn Wena?"

A hare-raising time in Central Park.
(I'm full of these puns. Ha!)

The view from our hotel, which wasn't as squalid as we thought
(the hotel or the view).

Home to our grateful kitty, who left us a wonderful welcome-home
treat!
