The Guild Inn

We knew instantly on our first trip to the Guild Inn that it was the perfect spot
for the marriage ceremony and reception.
Considering the other candidates, it wasn't a hard choice to make.

We wanted a natural setting, preferably on water. The Guild Inn is located right on the Scarborough Bluffs with a stunning view of Lake Ontario.

We wanted something unique, quirky - that reflected who we are. The Inn is situated within Canada's first architectural gardens. The remains of Toronto's oldest buildings are scattered around the beautiful grounds. It was also formerly an artists' colony. We have definitely never seen anything like it. We love the artistic connection.

We plan to hold the ceremony at the "Greek Theatre" on the Guild Inn grounds. Our minister is Rev. Dr. G. McClintock of St. James Bond United Church.

The reception will be at the Studio (the former coach house) also at the Guild Inn.

Directions:

By Car
The Guild Inn is located 35 minutes east of downtown Toronto south of Kingston Road.
From the 401 take Morningside Exit south 3 miles to Guildwood Parkway and turn right.
From downtown - go east on Danforth Road until it becomes Kingston Road (which it does magically, like how Bloor becomes Danforth). After Markham Road turn south on Guildwood Parkway.

By TTC
From Kennedy station, take the Morningside 116 bus. It stops right outside the gates of the Inn. It's the stop right after Wilfred Laurier High School.
