Petrolia's Foreign Drillers

The Petrolia men who developed the skills to drill for oil were world leaders. They took their expertise to 32 foreign lands where they produced the first oil fields there. Our photographs show the drillers working in the exotic jungles of Java, on a desert island in the Red Sea and in Cuba. This was an amazing Canadian adventure in a time when few people traveled beyond their own home.
