Daily Bread Food Bank I designed this brochure as part of a client-sponsored project while completing my certificate for Digital Graphic Design. The client provided the text and I provided the graphic elements and layouts. The client's intention was to duplicate this brochure on their photocopier, and I had to design with that in mind. I also designed a Student- targeted insert for Daily Bread that was to be included with the brochure.

Daily Bread Food Bank Volunteer Logo In addition to the brochure, I was asked to create a logo for the Daily Bread volunteers. The intention was to express a feeling of giving and sharing of one's time and experiences. After
several incarnations, this is what was finally approved. |

Mark's Work Wearhouse I made these logos as part of a school assignment. The idea was to take an existing company's product, or product line, and redesign it for a new or existing target audience. I designed these logos to appeal to a wide audience, although my specific target audience was males in the 30-50 age bracket. The message was; Mark's Work Wearhouse is more than just workwear. |

Canadian Camping Life In this example, I have taken the original (Canadian) Camping Life Magazine, and added to it my own design and copy. The original version of the magazine has the masthead in a sans serif font (Helvetica, I believe). By making the simple change to a Times font and adding some italics, I created a much more dynamic look. Then,
using the same simple colour scheme from the cover, I went on to create
a sample table of contents and an article spread. |

The copy for the article was taken from my own camping pages, and all of the photos I used were taken either by myself, or by my friend during our camping adventures in Algonquin Park. Ontario Parks Sample Advertisement This is a simple one-page advertisement that I created for a Print Production assignment using Quark Xpress. I think that the strong wolf image compliments the simplicity of the text to get the message across. If you've got the camping itch now, you might want to visit the Ontario Parks website. |

RGB Advertising Design Inc. The assignment was to redesign an advertisement card for RGB Design, a company once owned by one of my instructors, Tom Auger. The original card had a "spacey" theme, and I liked that idea, so I reworked the card using my own images created in Photoshop, adding green, red, and blue "shooting stars" to add a visual interest. The back of the card features images I created in Illustrator, which I then imported to Photoshop to add some special filter effects. To view full-sized images click on the thumbnails. |
