KINGDOM OF BELGIUM- Hey,

I’m here for only seven days and I already speak fluently two of the tree national languages. German is still too difficult, but I hold this one for when I go to Germany.

Let’s start with what I’ve done this week:

On Friday I went to Brussels. We helped the whole day to bring tents to the Kamp100 site. No less than 250 patrouille tents and 80 senior tents were loaded on tree trucks and then unloaded in Hoeilaert. Now that I’ve seen all this my expectations have risen even more…

On Saturday I went to a reunion of the éclaireurs at their local in Vinderhoute (10km from Gent). We played a sort of Giant Colonists of Catan. At the end of the reunion I’ve been officially received into the 24° Tom Wilson éclaireurs. I have to say that the kids were very pleased to see me.

I’d also loved to go to the seniors and cubs but they were playing in Gent and Lynx could’t split himself in two so its only a matter patience, I’ll see them next week-end at Kamp100.

This week I will surely see some Historical places from this little country. But for now I let the pics speak for themselves.
