Nuclear Medicine Imaging and Function Studies
of the Gastrointestinal System

Meet Your Instructor

Hi, my name is Lyle Goodin and it is my distinct pleasure to be your instructor for this section of NMNU410 - Nuclear Medicine Methodology I. In this portion of the course we are going to investigate the nuclear medicine procedures that are applied to the gastrointestinal system.

You probably recognize me from such previous blockbuster hits as Radiopharmacy (PRNU310) and Radiobiology (RDRD310). I hope this course will be as stimulating as the others.

Other than the joy of time with my family, my interests and hobbies include:

  • gardening (looking forward to doing period landscaping around our new (150 year old) home)
  • reading (mostly science and computer related stuff)
  • fossil hunting (mainly Ordovician invertebrates)
  • skiing (alpine; cross-country is too much work)
  • surfing (the internet that is)
  • scintillating conversation with students
  • walking Bailey (our Yorkie) through old Bowmanville
  • learning new things
