| This web site
is owned by its designer and is published by its owner in Coquitlam, B.C. Canada. Currently this web site is maintained on personal web space as part
of an internet service provider's connection package for non-commercial use. The
proposal involves making this web site a commercial site with the purchase of a basic
business web hosting package from the same provider (Look
Communications) on an annual basis.
The Sponsor:
The web site owner is looking for a sponsor that has,
or is developing, a commercial web site, and whose business is related to the Family
Christmas theme sufficiently to blend in with this public web site.
Investment:
The web site owner will request that the sponsor
invest $550 (Canadian) in the web site in return for exclusive advertising in all
allocated ad spaces over the entire web site for one full year.
All of the sponsor's investment will go directly into
the cost of hosting and accessing the web site. The web site owner may engage in
personal sales of craft material, and solicitation of charitable support for the web site.
There will be no other advertising on the site beyond the agreement between the web
site owner and the sponsor.
The web site will have only one sponsor per year.
At the end of the year the web site owner may choose to solicit a different
sponsor.
Traffic:
Currently, the off season visitation averages 10
visitors a day. Beginning as early as September visitation starts to increase with
over 500 visitors daily during about three weeks before Christmas. The yearly total
visitation amounts to over 10,000. Yearly, the average number of visitors for any
period increases as the web site is expanded and included in more search resources.
As the web site is an interactive intensive resource,
many visitors remain on site for several minutes up to an hour, viewing several pages.
The web site is family and entertainment oriented. The theme of the web
site is entirely Christmas related.
Currently, the majority of visitors to this web site
originate from the eastern USA and Canada.
Ad Allocation:
Allocated ad space includes standard banners on every
major page of the web site (except where block ads appear). Standard sized buttons will be
added to minor pages. 2 large block ads will appear in central navigational locations of
the web site. The ads will be prominently placed, but no ads will be placed so as to
interfere with the function, design or decorum of the page. No pop up or floating
ads will be used. All ad links will open new windows and link to URLs provided by
the sponsor. The sponsor will not use subversive or harassing advertising
strategies.
- Files sizes of standard banners (468x60 Pixels) will
be accepted up to 20K.
- Files sizes of standard buttons (120x60 Pixels) will
be accepted to 10K.
- Files sizes of block ads (200x250 Pixels) will be
accepted up to 40K.
Data Transfer:
The web host allows 6000MB of data transfer per
month. The total amount of web space allocated to the sponsor's ads will not exceed
500K, including all banners, buttons and block ads. The sponsor may store and direct
link to any ad resource of the sponsor on the web site owner's web space, thus utilizing a
share of the data transfer on the sponsor's own web site or in other advertising
campaigns. Access to the web owner's host server will not be shared.
Shared Resources:
The web site owner will share as much statistical and
technical information with the sponsor as available to develop effective advertising and
to analyze cost effectiveness of the investment.
The web site owner will continue to expand the web
site, and to increase its accessibility and visibility on the internet with a focus on
increasing traffic and marketing the sponsor's product or service.
The web site owner will also initially create banners
and ads to fill allocated ad space for the sponsor, if required. Any artwork created
by the web site owner for the sponsor will become the property of the sponsor.
The web site owner may be contacted at the web site's
public email address: hohoho@look.ca
