Can't Record Greeting(@fax)


Make sure that the all the features of your soundcard are installed 
Properly.  Ensure you have the latest soundcard drivers.
Does the soundcard record from regular windows sound recorder? 
Does it play that recording back?
If not then it is a problem with the soundcard. 
Click on My computer icon
Click on Control Panel icon
Click on Multimedia icon
Make sure Preferred device doesn't have a checkmark
Also check the items in preferred device and make sure the modem wave driver is there. 
If it is not there anymore, then exit back to Control Panel.  Go to the System Icon
Click on Device Manager
Look for anything with a yellow exclamation mark or listed under other devices. 
Remove them.  Then click on Refresh so it detects the components again.
This time when it detects a wave device, install the drivers from the modem driver
Diskette or CD.
