Speakerphone doesn't work
| Modem must have a mic in and a speaker output.
Make sure the soundcard supports Full Duplex and that the newest soundcard drivers For the soundcard are obtained from the soundcard manufacturers website. Put microphone in the modem’s mic in. Have the speakers hooked up to the soundcard output with the modem output connected to soundcard input. This must be done using a male to male stereo jack. To verify if your soundcard supports Full Duplex operations, try recording Wave files in windows using sound record and play wave files using Media Player simultaneously. If no errors are stated and if you are able to play the Recorded wave file after wards then your soundcard is full duplex. |
