Single Cylinder On-board
glow plug driver. No switches, jumpers, or pots to adjust. The switch point and direction are easily programmed from the transmitter and the microprocessor in the glow driver will store the setup. Programming can be changed at home or at the flying field. Just use a Y cord to plug it into the throttle channel or use a spare channel with mix on computer radios. Multi-Cylinder On-board glow
plug driver. Available for 5, 7, or 9 cylinder engines, the 7 cylinder model is shown. Programming can be easily set at home or at the flying field to adjust the throttle direction and switch point. You can also adjust the intensity of the glow plugs. A small remote panel is provided for the glow indicator and two push buttons used for programming. The length of wire for glow plugs, receiver, and remote panel may be specified for special orders. Power for the glow plugs is from a standard 6 cell or 7 cell electric car pack. (not included) The system will operate from 6 to 12 cells. Minimum of 2000mAh rating is recommended. If more cells are used, lower capacity may be used. For example, 12 cells of 1500mAh will provide the same glow time as 6 cells of 3000mAh. A Tamiya connector is included to fit a standard car pack.
