Designing the ToolToy



When a user encounters a ToolToyproduct, his or her
perceptions are abruptly altered in a number of ways.
 
ToolToy products change the user's context. They remind
them of their emotional nature.

The sentimental evocation of childhood memories through a
toy-like shape or function increases the personal involvement
of the user with the product. As a reminder of childhood, the
product gains in perceived personal value.
