Michael is a Registered Yoga Teacher*, having trained with Esther Myers of Toronto. The teachings are inspired by the late Vanda Scaravelli of Italy - author of "Awakening the Spine". This released-based approach to yoga utilizes the wave-like movement of the breath through the body. Establishing a connection to the ground with gravity to release and elongate the spine, deep-seated tension is released. |

Michael is interested in the symbiotic relationship between the physical practices (asana) of Hatha Yoga, the various breathing exercises (pranayama), and meditation (dyhana). Michael finds that the holistic nature of yoga can facilitate spiritual fruition as well as provide a practical solution for managing both mental and physical well-being. |
