N.B. This webpage is our original homepage. It has changed little from what it was in the spring of 1999. Most of the links have been updated and should still be good. I used a basic template from Word 97.
I believe that this orginal site was a decent job for its time. DB
Fundamentally, this is a registered partnership in Canada consisting of David and Irene Barron.
I (David) do most of the screenwriting and Irene handles the business matters. However, we are both responsible for correcting our creative material and we frequently make use of other screenwriters and script consultants in our pursuit of creating the best work possible.
Basically, I approach writing in a very personal way. I believe that both my life experience and education has helped to prepare me as a writer.
In the beginning, vision and passion are important in the creation of a screenplay. In later drafts, it is technical skill and intelligence that creates the final artistic product.
I, also, believe that true art of any kind can enhance the quality of life on earth and make the world a better place to live in.

I've always enjoyed entertaining others through singing acting and telling stories. Now, I'm specializing in that art which I do most creatively; writing.
If you've ever watched Jeopardy on TV, you can see how challenging human knowledge can be. The show is about what is only known on planet earth.
Imagine how challenging it is to go into a place where one has never been and discover what one doesn't know. That's what I'm trying to do as a writer.
The Team Concept
We believe in working as a team with an agent, producer and a director in achieving mutual goals in filmmaking.
We, also, believe in working with other artists and professionals to create the best writing products that we can achieve.
