The casino was packed as usual for a Saturday night. I walked around back counting the decks beginnings looking for some action. Found a no smoking table
with two free spots between second and third base. I put $500 on the table to get chips and the dealer ignored me and dealt. It was running +8 no Aces.
After that hand the count went up. He gave we 12 greens and 2 black. I put 4 green down, the max bet at any table got a garbage hand and busted out.
This got a checks played and the pit woman over for a look. I wasn't using my players card.
Next hand he "wonged me out." How can this guy who says "checks played" miss another stack of green? I pointed at my chips, the pit boss comes back and says "You can play the next hand." That's nice. I would have got a 6 and who knows what else, and the count wet up to around +20 running, about +3 TC a deck in.
This hand I got two 10s and the dealer got a 6. I split my 10s as everyone watched me as I said "This will make up for that last hand you missed." I got another 10 so I was set and a 7. I won both hands. The count was still high, not dropping much so I left the $100 down on one spot. They had payed me off with black coloring me up hoping I would play black until I wiped out. I left the four green down, and low and behold I got an Ace followed by a 10. The dealer painted the table with color as I took my chips and left up $250.
My girlfriend said she understood what I was doing. She knows about counting and knew there were few 10s then they all came out and that was why I left. I told her she wasn't the only one that knew what I was doing and explained why the dealer was doing what he did. They call it a cat and mouse game. This time the mouse took the cheese.
