The End of an Amazing Year

Y2K. I spent the first two months of 2000 recovering from a stroke. I spent April on strike, got a nice wage increase and bought a new car. I met Carl Ursini, the software designer of A.C.E. or Advanced Count Explorer. I finally got serious about writing a book, and I am just finishing up on it, putting all the indices into the back of the book. I finished off the month of November by paying my rent with checks made at online casinos.

Your $75 Christmas Bonus!

Ms. Santa has two excellent bonuses for you to start your Christmas season off with. First, a "Bread and Butter" casino. This is what I call a casino that gives constant bonuses. Casino 8 Online is a Cryptologic site that will match your $25 deposit with a $25 bonus every month. You are required to play $50 of $5 hands, and then the money is your to keep. I usually take my winnings out after two months at these places since they charge a $1 withdrawl fee.

Bonus #2 is a $50 for $50 bonus from Intercasino. Last month they matched $75 with $75 for Thanksgiving, this month it is the Christmas bonus! This is a better deal than they give me at work for Pete's sake!

VegasUSA2 - Beware!!

A while back I joined the VegasUSA online casino and referred a few friends to this site. I did quite well there against their downloadable CFLOOR.EXE MFC Application taking my money and their bonus money away with me. It was the fastest check I ever got in the mail. BUT, the knock-out blow was to follow when I joined their VegasUSA2 casino. I also asked two friends that made good with me at Vegas1 to join. One partner told me he went through his money and their bonus with few winning hands against a no bust dealer. I quickly let the other fellow know about this as I joined. He said he had the SAME experience! This I had to see.

It is a shockwave game that plays a "movie" on your computer. Well, the movie I saw was a no bust dealer kicking my ass out from under me on almost every hand. I got in touch with the casino and told them their game has something wrong with it, that I wanted my deposit back, and that they could keep their bonus AND the referral bonus. It was a long fight of love letters going back and forth, they cut both the Vegas accounts saying that is what I wanted. They finally told me I could get my deposit back by loging on and taking it out. They put my account back up, but since I had not put in the required play (4 x, as if that was possible!) I couldn't get the money out. They went in and sent it back to my card. I told them I would charge it back to them and that would incure expenses at their end. I also told them I would post to the newsgroups, yahoo, my huge mailing list, my website and another site I am trying to work for.

SO, I am trying to stay with Cryptologic and Microgaming sites, as well as the other reputable sites mentioned in Bill Haywood's book BeatWebCasinos.Com. I don't think they know what they are doing with that USA2 program, but I am sure if someone could get to the programming part of it, we could make a lot of money with a class action suit even if we settled out of court. I guess I should have stayed in school and became a lawyer. Naaaaaaaa!

Again, here are some of the bonus spots I have made good on. Start with these and keep your eye open for bonuses as you surf the 'net, or check back every so often for more sites here.

Christmas - A Time for Helping Others

In my book, I have a chapter called "Giving Something Back". Christmas is the time we see a lot of this happening. It is a behaviour that gets associated with Christmas because that is when it seems to take hold of everyone in some way. I have found that by giving something back from what you have earned or won will increase your earnings and winnings. There are opportunities where you can help better than anyone else ever can. Stop and think about these opportunites. Maybe you've missed them in the past and can still remember the face of that person you said "no" to. Or better yet, the look on the face of the person you helped out. These opportunities come to you for a reason. Trust me, you will be blessed ten times over for helping at the right times and the right places. Watch for them, and they will start to show up all around you. My personal charity is the Salvation Army, but that does not mean my door is shut to others that may knock. So many doors that I have knocked on this past year have been opened to me. Thank you Lord for filling my key chain.

Another Excerpt From My Coming Book

I am presently in the midst of writting a full sized book on Blackjack, card counting, and advantage play of this game. Here is a piece from the the section of the book called "Welcome to the 21st Century" about Blackjack programs online.

By simply transferring count-specific data from SBA into various fields In ACE, and adding your own conditions pertaining to rounds/hour, bankroll size, bet spread, etc., you can analyse the effects on expected win, risk of ruin, hourly rates, Kelly optimal bets, expected trip results, and much more. You can save your data for quick retrieval later on, and print your results. More information about ACE can be found at www.geocities.com/cu_21/, which provides links to the internet distributors as well as a downloadable evaluation version of the software.
