Slots have an edge of around 3-5%, ten times the edge that blackjack has. Every time you put $100 through the slot machine you can expect $95-97 back out. Playing triple coin putting $100 through a machine should only take you a few minutes. Each time you put $100 through, the games edge eats your coins until they are all gone, or you hit a jackpot.
Now, all of this information will not stop people from playing a slot machine, just like knowing the odds of winning the lottery are 17 million to 1 will not stop people from playing the lottery. Knowing that people will continue to play the slots because they like the thrill of trying to win a jackpot, I think they owe it to themselves to be playing slots onLine.
