Referral Splits

Cherry Splits

Waiting. Anticipating. The referral check was sent out from Costa Rica on the 17th of April when I was told it would be sent from Stockholm Sweden on the 20th of March. I am still waiting for it to arrive before I disburse our massive take on the Cherry and sisters casinos. Once the first few players got a taste of the 30% bonus and game that Cherry offers they wanted more. Add the $50 per casino to that and you have an 80% bonus, 50% of that locked in with the referral split. You can make an extra $250 by using my banners. Hit Cherry first if you are interested and I'll follow you through the other ones to make sure we get the booty. Email me here once you make your deposit with your player # and time you deposited. Deposit at least $100 so we get the referral fees.

Ready, Willing, and Able

Able Moving

Can you say you are ready willing and able to meet any challenge? I can tell you that I was not when it came to moving from a 15th floor apartment into a two storey home. This newsletter is so late because I am still trying to get back up to speed. It is the guys at Able Moving that I need to thank for moving me lock stock and barrel into our new home.

"At Able Moving we are not just Able; we're CapAble, AffordAble and ReliAble." Not a word of a lie spoken, the men at Able gave me a quote and actually went under that when they were finished the move. Three very nice gents came right at 9AM and had me unloaded by 5PM. They took great care of our possessions, and didn't make a mark on the new drywall or carpeted floors of our new home. If you need a quality mover in the Toronto area, pick Able. 150 Deerhide Crescent, Toronto, Ontario, M9M 2Y6. Tel: (416) 782-2617 or (905) 822-6160 Fax: (416) 787-8814 E-Mail: sales@able-moving.on.ca

When you know the job is too big, get help. When you know you can handle it, go at it tooth and nail! I have moved into the "House that Blackjack Built" and am ready to begin a double edged attack on the bonuses that are out there. All of my mail is forwarded from my old address to my new one for six months. My wife will be signing on from the new "House of Blackjack" while I continue to scoop up the cash from all of my previous haunts. The new business address is Blackjack Professional, PO Box 16-5, Brampton, Ontario, L7A 2S3, Canada.

Rubber Band Bets

Rubber Band Bets

It's that time of year when you can bet on hockey, basketball, and baseball all at the same time. The NHL has just started into the play-offs where the top seed teams take a whack at the 8th seed teams, the ones with something to prove and everything to gain for it. The dogs came out roaring and whipped out Ottawa and Dallas in the first game of the seven game series. Ottawa is 7-1 vs NY Islanders and Dallas is 6-3 vs Edmonton, so there is no doubt in my mind that with a seven game series what should be should be. Normally I bet pure dogs, but last season I made the most money with my "Rubber Band Bets." These are bets on "sure things" where you play everything you have on the outcome.

"McGarvey must have lost his mind when he moved!" I would not blame you for thinking that. Take a look at the picture of the rolls of bill$. You will see nine of them. The tenth one is the "everything" sized bet. One tenth of the bankroll, or one blackjack playing stake. Never put everything in one basket always applies, whether you are gathering chickens eggs, or risking your roll to the "dogs of war." I made a 33% profit with that Dallas/Ottawa parlay, and bet Toronto at +500 and Minnesota at +750 when they were 3-2 in their series. Toronto lost to Philly, but Minnesota kicked Patrick Roy and his Avalanche out of the playoffs for a nice dog win. I lost one unit on Toronto and won 7.5 units for a final take of 6.5 units. The Mighty Ducks continue to pound the favorites into the ground taking out last years cup champs Detroit and now have a 2-0 lead on Dallas. There is not an original six team left in the play-offs, which is sad. The NHL is the BOMB for creating positive expectation bets.

GIGSE Comes Back to Toronto

Global Interactive Gaming Summit & Expo

Blackjack Professional will be attending the fifth annual Global Interactive Gaming Summit & Expo hosted in Toronto at the end of May. Not to be missed is the one day Affiliate Marketing Conference (Affcon) taking place on 20 May where Zane Green will be speaking on a panel of casino affiliate industry leaders to discuss likely trends that will impact the gaming industry and how to make a win/win situation for all in the year ahead. I hope to be filling his mind and the other receptive individuals heads with ideas to help keep us in the blackjack game.

There is also a private seminar, where the Senior Marketing Executive of ReferBack.com's suite of casinos will discuss and share marketing concepts that work for 2003. I hope to impress them with my unique ideas which will help pave the way for continued success for Blackjack Professional players in particular.

CryptoLogic, WagerLogic, PartnerLogic?

Logic?

Where is the logic? I was a little confounded recently when I went back to empty my CryptoLogic accounts. I wanted to update my addresses on these accounts and was told that I could not do so unless there was less than $20 in my account. I withdrew all of the money then changed my address. This is fine since I have all of my mail on forward to my new business address. In doing all of this I found that CryptoLogic had spawned a few children. Here is a primer on this new extended family.

CryptoLogic is a casino software provider and E-cash software provider for WagerLogic. WagerLogic is the home site of the 23 online casinos that use CryptoLogic to manage their transactions. PartnerLogic is the home site of the affilate program for Intercasino, one of the most popular CryptoLogic/WagerLogic casino sites. In their own words, "PartnerLogic is the successful Partnership Marketing network for InterCasino, InterBingo and InterCasinoPoker."

Now if that doesn't confuse you, maybe this will. The first CryptoLogic casino I had joined was The Sands of the Caribbean. Five of the CryptoLogic casinos affilate programs are run by FocalClick, all a part of Peak Entertainments holdings! What was once just simply CryptoLogic has now turned itself into what looks like an eight legged octopus. When you call CryptoLogic for an explanation, you either are getting the anti-share holders cold shoulder, or a clueless employee that is just doing their job.

One very good bit of news is that I can log back into my InterCasino accounts without the crash disk that made older versions of the CryptoLogic software a security dinosaur. I still need to recieve my new PIN #'s by mail before I can withdraw any new $, another small security pain. And the wagering requirements have been out of this world for over a year now. Crypto has always been a leader in the online casino world. Too bad so many places are following their lead!

No Blackjack Allowed!

No BJ Rule is Like a Sticky Bonus

More and more online casinos are tell us that they don't want our business by adding blackjack to their "blacklist" of games that they do not permit us to play to obtain the sign-up bonuses. Trident Lounge first offered a $500 sticky bonus for a $250 deposit with no wagering requirements. I continue to kill for around $100 a week. Now they offer a $50 bonus for a $20 deposit, and if you make it a $50 Neteller deposit, you get an extra $20, but no blackjack allowed! What is the difference between this offer and a sticky bonus?

A sticky bonus is a bonus that you are never allowed to take out of the casino. The size of the original sticky bonus Trident offered was gigantic, and offered some decent protection of the deposit. The deposit could be taken out and the bonus was left in the account allowing us to play with no risk. The current bonus is a smaller version of the 200% bonus, but it is now a 250% bonus that requires 1x action on the deposit and 10x action on the bonus TO TAKE THE BONUS OUT. It says nothing about the winnings that you can generate above and beyond the deposit and bonus.

You start off with $70 and get to $90 or $100, a feat that anyone can easily pull off with a little know-how. You want to pull your winnings and continue to play no-risk blackjack, or find another game with a low negative disadvantage to try to get your bonus out too. How will the casino look at this problem? Trident said YES, my wife could take out her winnings as long as she left her deposit and bonus in the account. So far she has a balance of $200 and it is time to take the money out, another $100 check to the new address. The inevitible will happen, but how many times will we be able to pull a $100 check without losing the money that was never ours in the first place?

Time will tell.

First Blood - Excerpt From Billion Dollar Blackjack

Billion Dollar Blackjack Team

It is time to take that first step, the all-important one that should convince you that you are doing the right thing. If all goes well you will get your first taste of blackjack blood, which should then send you into a frenzy for more online blackjack play. You will want to limit your risk and give yourself a nice chance to make a profit. We are talking small dollars here, but this is the way to get your feet wet. We will be starting with a 250% bonus, something rather rare in 2003. I got an offer from this Microgaming casino in my email and went to the site to look over the terms and conditions of the offer. The first thing to verify is that blackjack is allowed to fulfill the required action for the bonus. Craps and Bacarrat are usually not allowed simply because you can bet against yourself and keep from losing any money while you play. Ten times action is required before you can remove the money from the account. You can deposit $20 and they will give you a $50 bonus within three hours of your deposit. You will have to play $700 worth of hands. The minimum bet is $2 so we can see that a minimum of 350 hands will get the job done.

I download the casino, which only takes a few seconds over a cable connection, install it and register to play for real money. I register a credit card and deposit $20. My balance is $20 and I look around at the games a bit, then go play blackjack for a few hands. I have my basic strategy card on the top of my computer table. I play five hands and when I am done I have $18. I win two, and lose three hands. The piece of graph paper I use to log my play on shows W W L L L. I start at the left side of the page and go down and place a line under these five hands so it will be easier for me to calculate how much action I have put it. I hang around for a little while longer then log out. I log back in thinking that some casinos require you to log out for their software to update your account, and the bonus is still not there. I log out again and continue to write this article. The computer is an amazing tool with so many wonderful uses. It can really help you remain productive with its multitasking capabilities.

I get a lot of questions in my email from anxious first time players when they don’t get the bonus right away. This will happen from time to time, so try to relax when it does. In the terms and conditions for these bonuses you will often see information that tells you to play the deposit once before you get the bonus. In that case, you should play $20 to $30 worth of hands then stop. If it doesn’t mention that you have to play the deposit first, don’t. Some sites will not recognize your play as required action until after they have added the bonus.

I log back in later that night and find my account balance is now $68. I have played $10 worth of hands, and now owe them another $690 in action. I play for about a half an hour at around a speed of one hand every five seconds. That’s about 700 hands per hour so I should have all of my action in. Making $50 in a half an hours play is nothing to laugh at. We can add in the research, download and registration time and that would make this a $50 an hour job........

"The iGaming market is expected to grow into a $15 billion dollar industry by the year 2005."
The Financial Times

"The market for online casinos could be worth $US215 Billion in accumulated bet value by 2015."
