Expanding Your Bankroll

Summer holidays are over and Christmas is not yet here. This makes October BANKROLL MONTH. Many people will get paid 5 times if paid weekly, or 3 times if bi-weekly, and this gives us a small jump in available cash. If you play Blackjack and count properly, your bankroll will naturally grow between the swings of the game, but adding to the bankroll so the size of our maximum bet (1% of entire Bank) can be increased in as many ways as possible will allow you to bet the table maximum (in progressive jumps) sooner.

Take a look around your house at all the things you don't use. Ever wonder what it will be like when you move? Avoid disaster and start selling these things off. Garage sales are excellent ways of making a few hundred dollars AND cleaning up the house. People come and carry your garbage away for you AND give you money for it. Your wife will think you're a hero!

Buy and Sell newspapers. Often you can place ads for free because people purchase the newspaper to look for deals. Phone or fax in a list of items and save yourself the fuss of even moving things until someone calls.

Can I give you $12.50US a month? Yes! At LEAST that much. Million dollar companies pay people to allow them to advertise in their browsers. Since you are reading this newsletter, I know you could be not only making $12.50 a month, but could be making WAY more with a bit of work getting people you know to join these advertising companies. The Web is taking off like a rocket and this is one of the free rides you can enjoy. Click on the picture below to make $150.00 a year US for browsing the Web!

Betting Up In Steps

I have always taken a conservative view of betting on Blackjack hands. All of the good books on the game tell you straight up that a good positive count is not a guarantee you will win a hand. Over the long run, yes, you will turn a fine profit playing the game. By taking it a little slower I have experienced smaller swings in my Bankroll, but a very positive increase session by session that keeps me believing in Blackjack, and myself.

Above I mention a maximum bet of 1% of the entire bankroll on any one hand. This can be a lot of money once you break the $10,000 mark. Some betting methods allow for a maximum bet equal to the calculated advantage which can be 2, 3, 4, and 5% or more. The fact is the math helps us make decisions, but it never changes the value of the chips we place on the felt. Sacrificing some enticing opportunities for a more steady income can keep you in business far longer than a high stakes rollercoaster ride that gets your heart pounding when you are trying to have fun.

Watch your chips. The old rule of betting more when you are winning is valid. If the count is positive climb your bets in steps within the advantage you have and skim off your profit as you do so. If things are a little rougher only bet up after a win with a positive count. You can't bet $5 - $10 - $20 - $40 - $80 without counting and expect to win, and you can't count all night without increasing your bets and expect to win. It's not hard to make money in a Blackjack game. The trick is to keep it once you have it in front of you. Click below and drop me a line if you are interested.
