The Bad Pun Explanation

Once upon a time, I was wondering what 'handle' I should use for myself. I wanted to use 'webmaster' somehow (in an effort to claim some degree of mastery over html and all that), and a really helpful friend who liked to surf some really strange sites that involved mysterious men and women promising even more mysterious things ... but never quite actually, er .. whatever .... suggested I use some anonymous handle like webmaster A. Apparently, that's the sort of name they use on those sites where you don't want anyone to know you visit.

Stuck with a cultural identity crisis, there was a need for some Canadian content, eh?

And in a fit of creativity -- the answer -- webmaster EH. Anonymous, Canadian, the whole thing.
