In order to enter your any HTML codes into a file created with GeoBuilder you must do the following: Click on the TEXT icon. In the text window, Click on VIEW HTML. Enter your HTML codes. Click OK. Move the highlighted text (with the HTML codes embedded in it) to where ever you wish. Or .... in Geobuilder to 'paste' new stuff: ADDONS >> BASIC >> FORMS & SCRIPT Send improvements

Geobuilder's replacement - the Java-based PageBuilder

Click "Insert" from the menu at the top of the PageBuilder window. Go to "Forms and Scripts", then "HTML Code". This is where the problems begin. Most people would try to paste the code into the box that pops up using their mouse but since it's Java-based they find that they can't. All you have to do to get your copied code from your clipboard and into the java applet which is Pagebuilder, is click Control and V together (Ctrl-V). Note that all that will show on the page in PageBuilder will be a colored box - which you can move and resize to wherever you want on your page. The actual item generated by the code (that you pasted) will only show when the page is viewed normally - never when viewed in PageBuilder. Tripod Site Builder

Start Site Builder. Open the file you wish to edit. Click "Add Web Gem" located in the bottom menu Choose the location of the Web Gem on the page. Click the "Add it Here" button where you wish to add it. On the line labeled "Build Your Own Web Gem" click the "Add" link. Claris Homepage 3.0

Load the page you want to add the HTML code to. From the View Menu click on Edit HTML source Copy and Paste the HTML code where appropriate. From the View Menu click on Preview in Browser and view your page from within whichever browser you want. If you like what you see, save the file .. otherwise edit some more. And a variation on that theme for pasting counters (might work with any script??): in the "Edit Page" Mode I place the cursor where I wanted your counter to be. Then click on "Edit HTML" button. Copy and Paste in <!--NOEDIT-->PUT COUNTER CODE HERE<!--/NOEDIT--> Then delete the words "PUT COUNTER HERE" only. Copy and paste in the html for the counter in it's place. Click SAVE and then uploaded it. You will NOT see the counter icon until the page is viewed online, only the html text will show. Click "Edit HTML" Either type or paste the HTML or JavaScript code into the "HTML Snippet" field. To paste - press the Control and V keys at the same time. Click "Ok". Save the page. Web Studio

Somebody suggested that the best thing to do with Web Studio was to scratch the CD before you threw it away. On a more constructive note, this has also been suggested: 1. Go to gallery/cool stuff/html box and drag the html box on page. 2. Right click on html box 3. Click on 'properties' 4. Click on HTML content 5. Add script 6. Click on "ok" A similar but slightly different method has also been suggested: 1. Click on the "Signs" button, then open the folder with the blue square. 2. Drag any color square to where you want your counter or whatever to go. 3. To make square transparent, right click the square, then click on "transparent" ," choose color". 4. Click on the color that is the same as your square. 5. Right click the now transparent square, then click "Properties" 6. Click on "Object Html", and then "Before Object." 7. Paste your html. 8. Click 'OK'. When you preview you site, the object will appear, and if you don't like where it is, you can just drag it somewhere else.
