BurghausenBurghausen is across the river in Bavaria. The fortress sits above the town and only about half of it is visible in this photo. They wanted 45 euros in a dump so I crossed back into Austria, climbed the hill, and found a room in a private home for 18 euros, including breakfast. The old couple were wonderful. |
PassauPast Burghausen the Salzach joins the Inn (which flows through Innsbruck upstream), then the Inn flows into the Danube at Passau. Architecture in Passau is strongly influenced by Italian style. | |
