POSITION AVAILABLE

 ON CALL Receptionist/Secretary

$10.00 per hour

 Is your schedule flexible?  Can you come to work on short notice?  Can you fill in during a lunch hour on an emergency basis?

 We are non-profit, neighbourhood-based community centre in North Toronto  (Mt. Pleasant and Eglinton area) that provides a wide range or programs and services to the community.  We require an ON CALL Receptionist.

 Candidates will possess the following:  

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Above average MS Office experience
  • Minimum one year’s relevant experience

 Major duties include:

  • Reception of clientele
  • Answering telephone inquiries, providing appropriate information
  • Processing membership applications/renewals
  • Preparing flyers, bulletins and other documents as requested
  • General office functions and other duties as assigned.

HOURS: There is no guarantee of regular hours.  The hours of work vary according to need – daytime/evening/weekend.  You will be called on an “as-need” basis.
