Fall is a great time to learn something new and meet new people. Come to CECC and register for our great evening/Saturday programs for adults. Please come into the Centre to register, or phone 416-392-0511, ext. 0 to register by phone. Please note: Classes require a minimum number of participants in order to run. There are NO REFUNDS for withdrawals from Community Programs. If you are unsure of the program’s suitability, you are welcome to visit the first scheduled class at no charge (subject to space availability). (This first free visit offer does not apply to workshops or to the yoga/pilates courses.) If you decide to register for the program after the first class, you would then pay the full program fee. No free visits will be allowed after the first scheduled class. Please phone Nancy at 416-392-0511, ext. 225, or email programmanager@centraleglinton.com for more information.
DRAWING FOR THE ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED BEGINNER But all levels are welcome! If you can write or print, you can draw. Talent may speed up the process. However, drawing is a learned skill that anyone can achieve with direction and practice. Learning to draw can be the gateway to self-expression and appreciation of the world at large. “Drawing for the Absolutely Terrified Beginner” is taught by Lester Clarke, an artist and illustrator who is a graduate of Sheridan College and presently teaches art with Toronto Parks and Recreation. Date: Mondays, September 22 - Dec. 1
