VICTORIAN TEA AT THE
LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY

You'll really enjoy taking part in this special holiday tea at the fabulous and grand Queen's park Legislative Assembly, built in the 1800's.  You will be treated to an old-fashioned recital in the parlour, while nibbling on dainty sandwiches and scones, and sipping hot tea.  A tour of the historic legislature will take place prior to tea. 

Registration is limited to 10 participants only.

Please meet Blythe inside the Yonge and Eglinton subway station beside the Cinnabons, at 11:45 a.m. or meet the group inside the Legislative Building, main lobby, reception desk prior to 1:00 p.m.  TTC directions: Take the Yonge subway south to Wellesley station and transfer to the Wellesley bus westbound.  Get off at Queen's Park Blvd., cross the street and walk around to the front of the building (just north of College Street, in the centre of Queen's Park).

DATE: Friday, November 27
TIME: 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. (Tour starts promptly at 1:00 p.m.)
COST: $25.00 CECC members, $35.00 non-members.

Registration closes on Monday, November 16 OR when fully booked.  Payment is due one week after registering for this event.

THE BAY - ARCADIAN COURT

Christmas is a special time at the Bay's Queen  Street store, and the Arcadian Court restaurant, located at Queen and Yonge Streets.  Please join us today for a delicious buffet luncheon served up fresh in the lovely Arcadian Court, a Toronto dining tradition since the early 1900's.  After lunch you can get some shopping in or view the holiday window displays.  Lunch costs $20.00 + pr person.

TTC directions:  Take the Yonge subway to Queen Station.  Enter the Bay Department Store located at the corner of Yonge and Queen Streets, and take the escalators (or elevator) to the 7th floor.  Or meet Blythe inside the Eglinton subway station beside the Cinnabons at 11:00 a.m. and we will go together.
