Another good freeware player (no karaoke) is MidiPlus - about 950K - midi, avi, wav
If you have wav files greater than 1 meg, use MidiPlus - but not the standard win95 player!

You need the JDK from Sun; I use the JPadPro Editor, and highly recommend it for Java, Javascript, and HTML. JPadPro also interfaces with MS SDK.
JPad and Kawa are two Editors which interface with the Java JDK making life simpler
for Windows 95 users. If you want to use Java, you will need Win95.
