    Bill Nye is devoted to making science fun. At the Nye Labs Online Web site, you'll find the demo of the day where kids can get directions to fun experiments that they can perform. The Web site also includes a list of Bill's favorite science books, a science chat room, and the Goodies area where you can download sounds, movies, and photos.

    Newton's Apple
    The Newton's Apple Web site provides detailed explanations of more than 70 topics that were presented on the popular PBS program.     The JASON Project
    This Web site is part of the JASON Project, an annual scientific expedition of the seas and oceans of the world that provides original curriculum for grades 4 through 8.     The University of Berkeley's Dinosaur Hall Web site is a great place to learn about dinosaurs.     Yahooligans!
    Yahoo! has a great new Web site - Yahooligans! - that's designed for kids 8 to 15. The Web site includes an entire section devoted to Web sites about science. In Yahooligans' Science and Oddities section, you'll find more than 270 links to Web sites covering 20 different science categories including airplanes, anthropology, biology, chemistry, geography, geology, oceanography, space and technology.

    The Postcard Store
    The Postcard Store is a great site where you can send postcards to your friends. The store offers a rack of postcards that includes paintings, photographs, contemporary art and graphics by the likes of Leonardo da Vinci, Jan Vermeer, and Howard Rheingold. You can also include a personal message on each postcard you send.

    The Cyrano Server
    This Web site is inspired by the story of Cyrano de Bergerac, a great swordfighter and poet in French literature who believed himself too ugly to every win the love of a woman. The site supports those "shy or unimaginative" people who are unable to tell that special someone how they feel.
