Toledo Windsurfing Championships and Can-Am Challenge, June 5-6,1999 in Toledo, Ohio on Lake Erie. Contact Rod Clevenger 419-836-4010. The third Can-Am Challenge pits the visiting Canadian racers against home crowd Americans in the same class. The '97 event was won by the US team at Lake Sebago. In '98 the Canadians won at Summerside. A big turn out at Toledo might be able to reverse the trend. Last year Toledo served up some very challenging racing in big winds.

If you wish to support Barrie Windriders efforts to preserve access send your $10 (yes only $10) membership to Barrie Windriders, PO Box 26005, Barrie, Ont. L4N 7N3.
