Norman the baby Caribou-dog

at 8 months

The mark on the top of his nose is actually a spot where the top skin has been scraped off. Norman has a burying fetish. None of my other dogs were every interested in burying. Digging, yes. Burying, not really. Well Norman MUST bury extra food. Indoors and outdoors. I tried free-feeding him - stashes of kibble started appearing throughout the house. The same goes for any "big" treat - rawhide items invariably disappear, to be discovered underneath chairs or sofas. The nose scrape came from trying to bury a bone inside a couch.

This is expensive Norman. Get a mutt, get hybrid vigor. Yeah, right. Get Norman, get hips that scream hip displasia. He had the kind of x-ray that screams "car" to vetinary surgeons. He had a triple pelvic osteometry. Nice stitch marks! Fully recovered now, the main improvement is Norman can run and keep up to other dogs. He is still a klutz on tile. His rear legs still swing out from under him if he's not careful. With his too-long legs and unsteady gait, he looks like a newborn Caribou.

At 18 months

Make sure you get my good side.

Nice car. Nice ton of dog hair on the back seat.

Mug shot.
