Yvette is alive and well and wishes you good karma...

Our story began when Yvette jetted off to Asia on Monday November 29, 1999.

December 6. 1999
This is the first I've been able to find a place to write.  I've been here in Krabi Town (south Thailand)  for for 5 days, going on to Ko Samui Island next week.
The  banks are being a #itch.  I can't get access to my money, and most places take Mastercard - not VISA! Luckily I have enough funds to hold me over until later.
I have the opportunity to tutor in Bangkok later when I get back there.
One more thing,  I wish the ants were as big as rats, then at least I would feel that the size of the sting and itching from their bites were justified.
The whole neighbourhood knows me, as I am living with a Thai lady in her home, she has introduced to to EVERYONE! GEEsh, there is no room for shyness, especially since everyone stops what they are doing to stare me up and down.  Let me say, by the time I get home, I will have zero problems with my voyeuristic issues.
    Sawadika (hello) to everyone, Yvette

I am going by bus/boat to Samui Island tomorrow, will write more details about it then.  I am waiting to hear from my friend George in Taiwan, so I can go visit him if the plane ticket isn't too expensive.
Sending you lovely breezes from the tropics, Yvette

People with O+ blood should stay away from bug infested areas - I look like I have the measles.
I had some nice strolls through the market place in Krabi Town, and bought a wine coloured cotton blouse four 170 baht and skirt for 4150 baht.
I got caught in a HEAVY downpour yesterday right in the middle of my offering of flowers and incence. Of course, my offering of incense went out and I got drenched then I had stomach troubles all night and woke up with some crazy diarrhea - but after taking some homeopathics, acidofolus and a shot of unicum (Hungarian bitter alcohol with herbs), I got cleared up right away. Of course, after just a tiny shot of unicum, the behind should be able to see.
There are plenty of interesting crossdressers and hermaphordites wannabes to give Church Street a run for it's money.

December 15. 1999
Had a total shift in consciousness, no longer need to be in the East!  I know, WHAT?!?!  I came to the rather abrupt realization that Asia was more of a tool for my consciousness to work out some of the more "murky" parts.  Not so much a place to "see."  Yes I'm having great fun today etc. but nothing is remarkable.
Asia is everything and more than I've always thought.  No Canadians yet. The temperature is about 25 - 29 C. The plane trips went well, though after 30 +
hours, my back has had it.
I feel I've gotten everything (for now) I need out of Asia and my further presence is simply unfounded.
Hope things are well, see you in a couple of
weeks. Take care, Yvette

As of January 2000, Yvette is now home safe and sound in Toronto.

The End

The moral of this story is: Toronto rocks when you've found yourself.
