Edward was a Printer-Compositor in 1871 and a Journeyman, according tothe 1881 Census. The family was living in Gloucestershire in 1891.


William Trounce

Willliam was referred to as Captain Trounce in the journals of CharlesWesley, one of the founders of the Wesleyan movement.

William Trounce

William was a farmer in St. Anthony-in-Meneage in 1841 and 1851 (42acres), according to the Census. Later, he was one of the first Trouncesto arrive in Australia on February 8, 1852 on board the SS Caucasian.However, he first emigrated to New Zealand but lost money due to the theoccasional uprisings of the Maoris.
