One of the definitive indie CG films, this one is not to be missed, especially if you are a fan of John Woo films. Rustboy by Brian Taylor Rustboy is a very promising looking short with a very well defined style reminiscent of filmmaker Tim Burton's work. Lots of Robots by Andy Murdock Another awesome CG film in the works, I approve of the subject matter ;) Dark Age of Light Dark Age of Light - Episode 01 is the first in a series of 3D Animation, science-fiction short films created by Tom Taylor Blue By Christopher Mullins and Aaron Webster. Slick looking film to be released in June of 2003. I understand that this one is also going to be about 30 minutes long, not to mention the robot theme. Pica Towers by Marc Craste Marc Craste has created a windy, dirty, grungy world filled with unfortunate characters who have no choice but to obey the whim of their CG Creator. Cruelty in the CG world translates to much amusement on our side of the screen. Tripping the Rift by Chuck Austin and Chris Moeller You may have to go onto Grokster or Kazaa to get the original Tripping the Rift! The original film was picked up by Film Roman who plan to turn it into a TV series, but in the process the original creators were given the ol' boot, and now have absolutely no creative input into the process. Let this be a lesson to all the amateur filmmakers out there: The film industry is just as corrupt as the music industry.
