Hi there, thanks for dropping by!

First of all, I just want to say a big WELCOME to this place of mine on the World Wide Web (that's starting to sound kinda' cliche-ish--oh well!). As my friend John Paul Sunga of Joekool records would say-- "LOL!!!!"

I also would like to thank you for your interest in learning more about me (well, most of my friends already know about me and my personal life--but let's not even go there!!)

Anyway, you're probably wondering "Who on earth am I????" or some other question of that nature. I'm a Musician at heart, mostly a composer/songwriter/arranger (I had to put all three titles down--there's more to that!)

My aquaintance with the piano stretches back to the age of 5, when I began taking lessons with the Royal Conservatory of music. When I heard the music of the rock group CHICAGO, in my 13th year of existence, that marked the end of my classical phase. MIDI Synthesisers presented potential for orchestration-aranging possiblities--Absolutley amazing.

Anyway, I then turned to rock/pop, helping form a high school hard-rock group--"Trespassers" and an award-winning multicultural accapella group called "FreeTime". Well, actually, I was only with the group for a short time, but never got around completing the competition; so we had someone take my place--it's a long story and to some degree, a draaaagg!

***** Bored yet? If not, read on! *****

I've worked with several artists, ranging from local independent performers, to celebrities and members of the Toronto Musical scene. People from Toronto's Miss Saigon and Beauty and the Beast, Leah Navarro (I didn't know who she was until my friend, Juliet told me), Graceless, Jennifer Uy, Keith Javier, Alex Mozo, Donald Toress, Paul Umali... the list goes on and on and on and......(someone PLEASE shoot that Energizer bunny!!)

Digital media technology has always captured my interest; you'll probably find me wandering around the Toronto Multimedia Shows, Computer Fests or even the ComDex shows during the summer months. As a multimedia artist, I just can't unglue my eyes from his computer digital workstation! As a musician, well....the q-tips do come in handy after those long audio recording sessions! You might also find me wandering around Canadian Music Week (1999) at the Metro Convention Centre.

Time and time again, I continue to challenge himself with various musical and multimedia projects. Right now, I'm currently working on a solo CD, which will feature performances by a few different singers, some including myself (if you ask me, the other singers sing better than me). All the songs will be originals--more info coming soon!

When I'm not in the studio working on a project, You can probably find me playing keyboards and singing backing vocals for a Youth Music Ministry called Vision 2000. Praise the Lord!!!

I have so far only one album complete to my credit; a small Christmas album of instrumental compositions that I produced in 1994 just for family and friends--all onto cassette. What the hey, it was meant for fun and experience! And it was a lot of fun doing it (I think anyone wanting to put out a record should make one at home and put it out independently--it's a lot more fun that way!) The upcoming album will be a debut of my original songs (with singers--finally!!).

Anyway, feel free to explore the other sections of this site. It was designed to keep you informed with what's happening, as well as to keep you entertained (acutally, I'm still trying to improve that). Take care and thanks for visiting!

Rod =)
