This is one of a few people whom I owe many thanks to. He and Rose Bellosillo were able to get me an opportunity to perform for Cultural Mosaic (Scarborough Campus, U of T.) It was that night (March 21st) that I met Graceless, the other group who was helping out as a F.A.C.E.S representative. (Well, we weren't really a part of F.A.C.E.S, but we were willing to volunteer our help for F.A.C.E.S--a really cool organization). It was the biggest snowstorm of the year and the turn out was somewhat kinda different.

I had no idea when I first Alex that he too was a musician as well. The previous year, he had performed for Cultural Mosaic with Keith Javier and my cousin, Robert Dacpano (D.J Duck!!!). Later on, I had the opportunity to record Alex on a couple of songs--one of them a personal favorite called Young and Good. Man, I was absolutely floored when I heard his voice--it set the tone and mood for YOUNG N' GOOD. In on word--awesome!!!

He is also part of a music Ministry/Community called the Pulse (similar to Vision 2000.) He and Keith Javier are regular members of the Pulse, singing praises to the Lord through song.

As a coordinator, Alex assembles great talents--he has a vision and sense of direction in choosing stage performers with presence. Graceless was definetly no exception--I was very fortunate to hear them live that night and even get to work with them.

Alex loves a challenge when it comes to singing solo--he explores and finds ways to improve a song right on the spot. A very expressive, soulful voice that even I can't resist listening to!

Tnere is also a compassionate side of Alex. He has a love for friends, loyalty and faithfulness. At times, he has even gone out of his way just to bring a smile to a friends faces. I can remember when he sent me a Christmas greeting--a gift certificate. Having Alex as a great friend is more than a gift; I'm am very blessed to call him my friend.

Alex is currently working on a solo Christian project with the Pulse, as well as with Rodney Ronquillo--he has a lot of great ideas and like Jp and Kaine, has the qualities of a great producer. I wish I had a voice as soulful as his, because it's awesome!!!
