Dan Monaco- The man with a heart for humanity (that's not lame like cheese!).
Dan and I have known each other since High School; we were both enrolled in televion production class at Stephen Leacock Collegiate, the same class that Mike Myers (of Waynes World) was enrolled in. I believe he must have had a lot more fun in the sound room more, because I would usually see him having a lot of fun there. I can also remember when he and I would work on come computer animations together, to assemble for the next morning's show. We used to come up with the most inane lingo on earth. For example, if we saw something wasn't right, he'd say "Man that's lame like cheese!", or if someone is experiencing a euphoria, we'd say "Ahhh..(s)he's sighing with glee!". Yep, very inane, but very funny too--it takes the stress out of life. Dan's a very halarious guy; he definetly has a way with words and can make you laugh. At the same time, he is very compassionate about people. The picture above is of him in egypt, visting a family with his friend (and my friend too), Bob Milosevek. What impresses me most about Dan is his music; He really knows his guitar playing and he plays it extremely well! He currently working on some music projects of his own, one of which will be a solo cd with numerous compositions and songs. Dan has been my long time high school friend, along with Craig Taylor, Simone Hendricks, Melanie Moore, Joanne Piercey (the list goes on.) I wished I had formed a band earlier with Dan; he's great to work with and he really knows how to make a song better (he's critiqued my work and made great suggestions--as a result, I've improved my songwriting!) If you ever need someone to cheer you up, all of my friends on this site can do that; Dan has a unique way of doing that too. Like Donald, I almost die on the floor laughing when he tells jokes! I'm hoping to work with Dan more in the future--he really is a great asset, but most importantly, he is truly a sincere and great friend. I am very blessed to call him my friend.
