Keith Javier - A voice that stands alone. To listen to these clips, you will need either MP3 or RealAudio players.
I first met Keith when he was a part of the Youth Ablaze music ministry, during their 1994 Christmas concert at St. Thomas More, Scarborough. Reagan Regozo and Donald Toress were also among the many performers that night. If I can remember, I was videotaping theshow and there was a moment behind the scenes when I jokingly zoomed right into Keith's face--it was just for fun! Years later, I met Keith again at my cousin's graduation party; he and Donald were asked to sing a rendition of "Years from here" by 4pm. It was that time when I heard Keith sang solo for the first time. It was a voice I couldn't believe I was hearing--a romantic, youthful, almost Babyface style voice! He asked me if we could work on a song for his 2-year relationship with his girlfriend. Just hearing Keith sing and meeting his girlfriend was inspiration enough to write a song entitled "Just to be with you". To this day, many people request to hear that song, not because it was a heart-tugging ballad, but that Keith's voice was perfect for it! Keith is currently a regular member of Pulse, the same music ministry with Alex Mozo. We're currently working on some solo projects, and some in the upbeat R&B genre. Almost everytime I write a ballad, I could almost hear Keith's voice in my head--a modern voice for modern R&B. People have asked about the possiblity of Keith recording and releasing a solo album. With a voice like his, the world awaits the debut. Aside from music, Keith is also one of the most down-to-earth people I know. Very friendly, compassionate and very sincere. Like the others on this website and my many friends, I am blessed to call Keith my friend.
