Future History of Verrin

Circa 0 R.A. - Mage War

The Crimmilian threat like all things started small. The small country of Crimml appeared during the Mage War, apparently from nowhere. Which confirms my theory that the Crimmilians were never supposed to be here. They are like the Shaykatchukaywan Warbler, introduced to the old world by Havlani explorers and now one of the most common bird species in The Moonstills and Aloria. The Crimmilians role in the Mage War was small, but it is an unconfirmed rumour that The Black One Tharak, power of Black Magic that ascended to power status was a powerful Crimmilian wizard. Somehow I doubt that.

118 R.A. Present Day

In this present day, few people know of the Crimmilians. They are taking advantage of this ignorance and are expanding their borders and are now over twice the size as they were in the Mage War. It has yet to be proven but it is assumed that Crimmilian spies are everywhere, gathering information for future conquests. Only the group of adventurers I have assembled, the nations immediately threatened by them (Aef'Yana, Kharos, Mantaw and Oseyo), and the Watchful Shadows are aware of the threat they pose. Now take at look at this threat first hand...

The weak monarchy of Kharos lost much ground in this century, unable to stand up to the Crimmilians and too proud to ask for help. The troubled Sylvan forests in Southwest Aef'Yana fell the Crimmilians as well. Strangely, the Crimmilians seem most interested in expanding into the Badlands, and are doing surprisingly well. Mantaw is still managing to hold them off, but this soon changes...

Circa 300 R.A.

Kharos fell completely in this century, and became the first and greatest gain to date for Crimml. Nileedlepopon and Nornapol fell as well, hopelessly outnumbered and outmatched. The worst mightmare of the East came true when Zhang Ming Hu allied with the Crimmilians lured by hollow promises of a united Zhung Qi. He is now dead, and Ho'p Thiên is all that remains, but not for long...

There appears to be hope for Verrin with the formation of seveal alliances. The Commonwealth of Aloria (Aloria and Tír Na bhFiann), and The Achepsian Empire (Achepes and Dhaziim ). The Holm of Kormekor and The Elven Nation of Aef'Yana declare war offically on Crimml now, but it is too late... Kyósakara Actively begins attacking the Crimmilians in the former Zhung Qi area, dismayed at the fall of Oseyo. It is also around this time The Moonstills begins to lose ground, losing the states of Ardrath, Dunderk, and Myndrik.

Circa 500 R.A.

The most shocking thing occurs in this century. Aef'Yana, under the influence of House Lellethspur, declares war on ALL of humanity! No differentiation is made between Crimmilian and non-Crimmilian, and they begin attacking Eastern Kanderry in The Moonstills, who join The Commonwealth of Aloria at this point. Yet another surprising alliance is made between The Dwarves of Kormekor and Norland (What's left of it). Far to the South, an alliance is made between Kilaranda, Mbanin, and Mwitunchi. Kyósakara actually does fairly well in its first century of active war, but like all things in the future, that takes a turn for the worse in time...
