Mon papa avait une C3! Ainsi s'exclament beaucoup de gens en voyant cette caméra, qui ne gagnerait certainement pas un concours de beauté. Cependant ce fut le bon produit au bon prix lancé au bon moment dans les années 1950 aux E.-U. et des centaines de milliers ont été vendues. Avec un objectif acceptable f/3.5 Cintar de 50mm, un télémètre couplé et une construction robuste des plus simples, cette caméra a fait la joie de centaines de milliers de familles en enregistrant leurs souvenirs sur pellicule. Celle-ci en particulier est encore en bon état de marche, mais beaucoup ont perdu la vigueur de leur jeunesse et ne sont utiles aujourd'hui qu'à servir de presse-papier!

Nevertheless it was the right product at the right price at the right time in the mid 50's in the U.S.A. and hundreds of thousands were sold. With a decent Cintar f/3.5 50m lens, coupled rangefinder and a very simple yet rugged construction, it made the delights of hundreds of thousands of families who recorded their souvenirs on film. This one is still in working order, but most have lost the vigor of their youth and are more useful today as paperweights!

Sin embargo fue el producto correcto al precio correcto oferto al mejor tiempo en los años 50 en EE.UU. y centenares de miles fueron vendidas. Con un objetivo aceptable Cintar f/3.5 de 50mm, telémetro acoplado y una construcción simple y robusta, ha traido la alegría a centenares de miles de familias que grabaron sus recuerdos en película. Está cámara misma todavia funciona, pero la mayoria perdieron el vigor de su juventud, y ahora pueden ser más utiles como ¡pesapapel!
