Le passé du subjonctif

L'usage du passé du subjonctif et le présent du subjonctif sont très semblables. Quand il y a des émotions, les expressions impersonnelles, ou quand on exprime une volonté, il faut qu'on utilise le subjonctif. Il y a une exception, toutefois, c'est le passé du subjonctif décrit les choses qui sont arrivées au passé au lieu du présent!

Voilà des exemples:

1.	Je suis content(e) que Pierre soit allé au cinéma avec moi hier soir.
	I am happy that Pierre went to the movies with me last night.

2.	Il est dommage que tu ne sois pas venu à la partie la semaine passée.
	It is too bad that you did not come to the party last week.

3.	Nous étions surpris que Jean ait ouvert la porte à un étranger.
	We were surprised that Jean opened the door to a stranger.

4.	Je suis triste que mes parents n'aient pas gagné la loterie l'année passée.
	I am sad that my parents did not win the lottery last year.

5.	Il semblait que j'aie gagné le prix.
	It appeared that I was winning the prize.

6.	Je suis heureux que ma petite amie ait pu sortir avec moi hier soir.
	I am happy that my girlfriend could go out with me last night.
