BIOGRAPHY

Born in England during
WW II, Barry Fraser came to Canada when he was three. Eventually his
family moved to West Hill Ontario, Canada, where Barry attended, West
Hill C.I. and Sir Wilfred Laurier C.I. After Highschool, Barry
returned to England on a contract with the Weston Corporation for a
two year period. During that time he visited London, Blackpool,
Glasgow, Inverness, Edinburgh, Stratford-Upon-Avon and Paris France.
After returning to Canada to work for Burrough's Business Machines,
he met his wife on a hay ride. The hay wagon broke down and they had
to walk together back to the farm, eventually hand in hand. They have
two daughters. Barry completed a BA in Psychology at Nipissing
University, his MSW in Clinical Social Work at the University of
Toronto and is a member of the College of Social Work. He worked for
eight years for the District of Parry Sound Children's Aid Society.
Returning to Toronto, Barry joined Family Service Employee Assistance
Programs where he is currently Program Manager. He has had several
papers published, is editor of the FSEAP Substance Abuse
Professionals Newsletter, is considered an expert in the area of
Trauma Debriefings and has presented hundreds of workshops to many of
Canada's leading corporations.
