I was surprised to find a single yellow rose on my bed when I entered my room. I wondered who had placed it there as I bathed and prepared for bed. However, I fell asleep quickly, tired from the day's work. I awoke with a start to a loud crashing sound. I jumped out of bed and ran to the doorway. In the hall I heard a TV blaring from a guest room on the floor above - that must be the culprit! Although I drifted back to sleep, it was a disturbing and restless night. The next morning I had to push myself to get dressed and venture down to the kitchen.
