A Rose Is Still A Rose The 'Sap' Within Christmas Is Such A Good Idea (I Wonder Who Thought It Up) Favourite Christmases Her Birth It's Getting Heavy My Gift To You The Music Inside The Light Received "Editor's Choice" Award, National Library of Poetry, 1996. Whatever Happened to 'Keep To The Right'? What to Do, What to Be! In Spring of 1995, I entered a poetry writing contest. The National Library of Poetry honoured me by publishing The Light in their anthology, titled The Road Not Taken , published March 1996. Later that year, I received the Editor's Choice Award for the same poem. That experience has encouraged me to believe in my ability. More importantly though, it proved what I knew all along ... I have music and poetry in my soul.
