    About the Program:

Fact-finding is an informative dispute resolution process that can be used to break negotiating impasses, give parties objective information for decision-making, or narrow the scope of disputes.   The workshop includes didactic presentation, demonstration, role playing, and group work.   The design allows the participants to gain valuable checklists and precedents, examine different models of fact-finding, learn the stages of fact-finding, learn what a fact-finder's terms of reference should contain, and write a fact-finder's report.
