Quality Development Workshops (QDW) was designed to meet the need for quality workshops which promote the
development of professionals in the health care field. We provide nurses and other health care
professionals with unique opportunities to acquire information, knowledge and skills that leverage their
continuous development and improvement as a professional. The cornerstone of QDW is our philosophy that life is a continuous learning opportunity and professionals have a desire to advance their practice. Quality programming which develops the knowledge and skill of the professional, and promotes continuous quality improvement through the process of life-long learning is our goal. Quality Development Workshops designs and delivers workshops and conferences that address trends within the health care system, and meet the leading edge holistic needs of the professional. A number of workshops and conferences were offered throughout Canada since 1995. QDW holds a ‘Celebrating Nursing into the Next Millennium Conference’ annually. You can look at them and register for the ones you are interested in attending. The published programs offered through QDW can be tailored and offered as an internal program within an organization.
