1874 - 1950

Canada's tenth prime minister, King served for twenty one years.

The grandson of the (in)famous William Lyon Mackenzie, leader of the Upper Canada rebellion.

Born in Kitchener, Ontario he died at his beloved estate Ellesmere in Gatineau Quebec. Upon his death, King donated this estate to the people of Canada.
