Leferink operates a transfer facility 2 blocks north of Hwy 7 (Guelph St.) on Mountainview Rd, Georgetown.
We are open to the public on a user fee basis. The fee is charged as follows;
- 1-5 standard bags - $2.00 each, includes GST.
- More than 5 bags or loads of waste - 13.5 cents per kg includes GST
- By the Piece
- $4.00 for up to 20 kgs (such as a single size mattress, portable TV)
- $6.00 for up to 40 kgs (such as a large mattress, BBQ)
- $10. 00 for up to 80 kgs (such as major appliances, couches)
Hours of Operation:
- Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm,
- Saturdays 9 am to 3 pm,
- closed Sundays and Holidays
* Leferink does not accept hazardous waste, tires, drums or barrels, wire fencing, propane tanks, asbestos
* The charge for recyclables is the same as for waste. Disposal of a blue box of recyclables costs the same as a bag of garbage ($2.00 which includes GST).
