Rumor was our first sheltie, and with her began an fiery love for the breed, that still burns strong.

Although there are many many other Rumor grandchildren and great grandchildren (through Fascination & Idle Gossip)  in other kennels, we have shown here the influence she has  had here at Highledge.

For us she produced two Champion daughters, Ch. Highledge Fascination, who in turn  produced, Ch. Highledge Fanfare, whose son Ch. Highledge Headmaster, gave us two wonderful daughters. BPIS Highledge Look Who's Talking,  and Highledge Whimsical.    Whimsical went on to produce BPIS BPISS Ch. Highledge On A Whim who now has FOUR beautiful Champions, and  BPIS Highledge Look Who's Talking,  produced the lovely  BPIG Ch. Highledge Tapestry Gift of Gab who in turn has given us Ch. Highledge Sweet Justice.

Through her other daughter, the Group winning Ch. Highledge Idle Gossip,  we have the gorgeous  BISS  Ch. Highledge SomethingToTalkAbout,  who has produced three outstanding daughters.  They are BPIS Highledge Look Who's Talking,  Highledge Talkin' Tradition and  Multiple(4 ) BPIS Ch. Highledge  Talkin Out Loud,  who have all proven themselves in the show ring, and  the whelping box.

Highledge Talkin' Tradition is the dam of Ch. Highledge Irish Cream who  is making his mark as a sire both here and at other kennels.  BPIS Ch. Highledge  Talkin Out Loud is the dam of BPISS BPIS Ch. Highledge Wild Irish Rose

Thank you so much Rumor for the legacy that you  leave.  I see your smiling face when I look at your family.   I look for you in your favorite corner, I hear your raspy bark.  You will be with me always...... in my mine,  my heart, and my soul.   We are so lucky to have had you in our lives.
