As June Callwood, who was both in the exhibit and attended the opening, stated: “I was thrilled that your work is being recognized for what it is, a triumph of artistry and compassion. People at that gathering were awe-struck, and I’m sure they told you, as they did me, how impressive they found the whole exhibit.”. There were around 500 people and there was not enough standing room.
The second exhibit was entitled “Treasured Legacies” and was held at the Cecile & Harry Pearl Gallery at the Holy Blossom Temple in 2002. At this exhibit the legendary Oscar Peterson spoke about “Creativity & Aging”.
